What do I do if my Custom RX Treatment bottle doesn't work?

Custom Rx Treatment comes in an airless pump bottle, which protects your formula from exposure to air until you dispense it. This packaging preserves the formula’s potency and uses a vacuum system—not a dip tube (or straw)—to pump it out.

If your formula does not dispense on first use, here’s what to do:

  • Keep the cap on and flip your bottle upside down.
  • Tap the top of the bottle on your countertop or your hand a couple of times.
  • Pump 2-3 times (or until the product comes out) to activate the vacuum pump system.
  • Repeat this process if needed.

The diagram below explains how your Custom Rx Treatment bottle dispenses product while protecting the formula's potency. The airless pump activates the vacuum effect, pulling product up without the use of a straw. Your Custom Rx Treatment is pulled up from the pump above and pushed up by the plate below, without being exposed to air. As product is vacuumed up, the plate under the product pushes it toward the pump. Air holes in the bottom of the bottle allow air to push the plate up. Watch a tutorial here.
