How should I take my medication?

It is important to take your medication exactly as prescribed by your provider. Try your best to take your medication at the same time(s) each day. To avoid missing a dose, it can be helpful to set an alarm on your phone, and to make taking your medication part of your daily routine—after brushing your teeth, for example.

If you are taking an extended release formulation, be sure not to cut your medication as this can interfere with the extended release coating.
