What are symptoms to look out for that should prompt me to stop my PDE5 inhibitor and see a healthcare provider?

Sudden loss of hearing or vision, heart palpitations, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath, an erection lasting more than 4 hours even if it isn’t painful, and hives.

Any of these symptoms should prompt medication discontinuation and you should seek out additional medical attention. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.
