I am a person with ovaries taking gender-affirming hormone therapy. Can I use the Ovulation Test?

If you currently are regularly menstruating and taking gender-affirming hormone therapy, this means that you are likely still ovulating, and can use our tests — research has shown that people on gender-affirming testosterone therapy who have regular periods have continued follicular development (which is necessary for ovulation), and can get pregnant.

If you are currently taking gender-affirming hormone therapy and are not regularly menstruating, this likely means you aren’t ovulating regularly, and using the Modern Fertility Ovulation Test is not recommended.
