Ciclopirox (an active ingredient in the shampoo) can cause itching, redness, or dry skin.
Less commonly, it can cause the following: ventricular tachycardia (irregularly fast heart rate), nail discoloration, alopecia (hair loss or thinning), hair discoloration, contact dermatitis (skin inflammation from contact with a substance), acneiform rash, or headache.
