How should I use my triamcinolone for eczema?

Wash your hands before and after applying it. It’s okay if the skin is slightly moist before applying it. Apply a thin film of triamcinolone to the area(s) of your flare-up and rub it in gently until it’s absorbed. Apply at a frequency and duration directed by your provider.

Don’t cover or bandage the area unless directed by your provider.

In some cases, your provider may prescribe a small dose between flares to help prevent them from happening or help reduce the severity. If you think you may need this type of preventative treatment, ask your provider. For additional information, see here
