Paroxetine and venlafaxine can interact with other drugs that increase serotonin levels or activity in the body, such as antidepressants (SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, and MAOIs) and numerous other drug classes.
Paroxetine and venlafaxine can increase the risk of bleeding when used with other drugs that increase bleeding risk, which can include blood thinners, other drugs that affect platelet function, and NSAIDs. If you are a regular user of these medications, please discuss with your provider.
