Psychological Induced ED: Alternatives to Medication

Psychological Induced ED: Alternatives to Medication

Although it is often the first line of defense, medication is not the most important part of treatment for psychologically induced ED.

If you have ED due to depression, anxiety, too much stress, relationship problems, or lack of sleep, the most important part of the treatment is to address the root cause. For example: if you are depressed, you need to treat the depression.

This can be done with psychotherapy, medication, meditation, self help techniques, or any combination of the above. The medicine is useful while you need it, but it is always better to treat the cause than just putting a bandaid on the problem.
