Anxiety Medication Causing ED: What now?

The most common medicines used to treat anxiety are associated with ED. These include the SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, and benzodiazepines.

Buspar (burpirone) is a medication that is specifically used for anxiety and is generally not associated with ED.

There are also non-pharmacologic treatments for depression that can be useful such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Talk to your doctor to see if one of these may work for you.
